On May 5th, the Dyson School hosted Bill Clark, the Harvey Brooks Professor of International Science, Public Policy and Human Development at Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government. Bill gave a rousing talk on the needs for and purpose of sustainability science and how, as economists (and geographers, biologists, ecologists, political economists, engineers, etc.), we must bridge interdisciplinary divides and step outside of the ivory tower to inform action on sustainable development. Bill was kind enough to share his seminar slides, where he lays out a conceptual framework for sustainability science. Take a look and share your thoughts.
